UPSC yaani Union Public Service Commission India ki central agency hi jo alag alag exams conduct karti hai jaise Civil Services Exam, IFS, NDA, CDS, SCRA etc. Civil services examination is popularly known as IAS exam. Civil Services Exam un tough exams me se ek hai jisko crack karna kaafi mushkil hai.
Is saal lagbhag 5 lakhs candidates ne exam dia. Vacancies thi sirf 980.

Eligibility kya hai iski?
IAS, IFS & IPS ke liye Citizen of India hona zaruri hai. Bharitya nagrik hone chahiye aap.
Graduation in any stream
Minimum 21 years. Maximum 32 years as on August 1 of the year of examination general category ke liye.
OBC ke liye age limit hai 35 years aur SC/ST ke liye age limit hai 37 years
Number of attempts for UPSC exam
General category candidates: 4
OBC category candidates = 7
SC/ST Candidates = unlimited
Stages in civil services exam
3 phases me exam conduct kia jaata hai. Exam ki notification april me aa jaati hai aur August me prelims hote hai. Prelims ke results september me aa jaate hai.
Main exam december me hota hai aur result feb/march tak aa jaate hai.
Preliminary examination or CSAT (Objective Section) jisme two objective-type papers (general studies and aptitude test) honge.
Main examination jisme subjective section, usme nine papers conventional (essay) honge
Inerview: Dono stages ke baad ek personality test hota hai jo march ya april ke mahine me hota hai normally. Iska Final result May/ June ke month me aa jayega.
Main examination 1750 marks ka hota hai aur personality test ke liye 275 marks hote hai. To total 2025 marks hote hai.
